Default Difficult Clients

How do you deal with difficult clients? I mean besides the fact that you just deal with them and go on about your business. I have a short-term client that is so utterly difficult, and he's so slow to get back to me on what he wants. This is a writing project that I could have completed in less than 1 day, and he wants to wait and spread it out over a period of 7 days. I just wondered how all of you handle difficult clients or customers. You know, without slapping them..

Get on with it. Tell him nicely that you will have priority over earlier orders.

Btw, Vanessa, what do you write about?

I write about anything and everything. I do mostly freelance work, writing articles for web content, blogs, etc. I have done a few article rewrites, but I really prefer to do original work. I've also done several product reviews and testimonials for websites. Just a little of everything, really

I almost forgot, my newest freelancing assignment is writing blogs for a lingerie website. My husband really loves that one
