Default Job vs Business - Which do you prefer?

Would you rather operation your on home-business, or have a job? Would you rather taxes be taken out, your schedule assigned, employee benefits?
Or would you rather have your own business, and deal with the taxes yourself, and plan your own schedule, etc?
I'd really like to hear some debates on both subjects
