Default Some offline advertisement methods

Hello all

Lets discuss offline advertisement methods, i am going to list some of the methods i know hoping to help some of you

1) Try having a nice flyer printed up at a local printer . Then contact your local paper and ask about doing an insert into the Sunday paper.

2) Have some nice business cards done up (Vista Print even has free ones, although paying for custom cards looks better) and leave them everywhere you go.

3) Contact a some local businesses and ask them if you can leave flyers there.

4) Contact local web designers and offer to host their website for free in exchange for them referring their design customers to you. ( in case your in the web hosting business)

Remember to be creative in all of the above, try to have something that stands out (in your business card design, flyers etc)

All good ideas. Also if your business pertains to the Internet then try and tie both offline and online advertising methods together by providing links to your websites on all physical methods listed above. Always good to do that!

Another way is to have a few decals on your car. Usualy just a web adress will do the trick. I have one on the back of the window just the web adress and a webaddress magnet. Has worked so far, and it from the East Coast to the South

There are many ways to advertise within your local market, but you want to make sure you keep track of your campaigns so you know which ones are working and which ones are not. This way you know which ones to keep doing and which ones to dump.

But there are also bad advertisement methods which most people hate, like call centres. I dont know if they ever call you. But they are always trying to get you a deal with some cheap mortgage or some energy or insurance company. What do you guys think of call centres?
