Default Selling on Ebay - A Twist

I bought an e-book recently which promised to tell me about an unusual but lucrative idea for making money.

Being the nice guy I am I'm not going to point you in the direction of the e-book but I will give you the jist of the idea.

We all know that there is money to be made by selling things on ebay but what about everyone that does not have access to the internet?

Simple, set yourself up as an ebay selling agent and charge a comission on the sale value. You can find potential customers by asking around everyone you know, looking out for sale ads placed by people in shop windows etc and also by contacting people who advertise items for sale in the local free-ads type newspapers.

I would say, just get internet. It isn't that expensive, and your plan wouldn't be as successful. It would be very time consuming as well, and you would most likely have a nervous break down from the stress of getting everything organized .

What e-book was it?

The whole idea is being a middle man. There is no doubt middle men even earn more than the producers. The idea is good and worth trying. Just make sure though to sell quality items and products.

Great idea. I am planning to start selling items on ebay. I am planning to resell products of others than produce my own. I'll just look for quality products I can sell.

I think everyone has missed the point of what I was trying to say.

This isn't reselling products for manufacturers.

It is a service you offer to friends, colleagues, neighbours and other people in your area who do not have computers or internet access.

You would be selling whatever they had to sell and just taking a percentage of the sale value.

Good idea Medw. Let others do the work and you take a % of the profits

I've offered to sell products on ebay for family members who don't have the internet. I didn't plan to charge them, though, because they're family. Maybe I should rethink my plan......

If youre selling something which is costly or which you can charge more for, then this idea can be used.. But if youre selling an ebook which cost you $3 and you're selling it for $1, then it'll be really foolish of you to pay commissions...
