I have posted this request before on THB, but im so desperate so here it goes again.

My website is nearly complete, and i need people to write articles for me, im willing to pay $5 each for the articles and the authors URL and name will of course be displaid beneath each article.

The only thing i must stress is that im paying for these articles and they must be unque.

Impulse, I think it's going to be pretty hard getting totally unique articles written for you for only $5.

Although I'm a freelance writer, I get paid anywhere from $90 to $250 for a commissioned article. Even non-freelancers, I don't think will work for that low price.

My best bet would be go to the article directories out there. But don't just go to the top pages. I find a lot of articles hidden deep inside, many of which have been long forgotten, but are well-written articles.

Thanks for the advice, as you may of guessed i didnt have a clue of the going rate for articles.

When you recommended is go to article directories, the thing that is putting me off is 'copied' content.

Is it true that search engines ban copied content? How do i go about this?

Don't take my word on this (am no real expert) but I think by 'copied' content is either stealing content or misusing it - in other words, having many pages on the same domain name with the same content.

To prove that articles from article direcorties won't get Google mad, I checked up on my two articles I have written and submitted and each site that has reprinted them (about 80+) is up on Google. In fact, a Google search of my article title shows all sites that have reprinted them ... so I don;t think you'll have anything to worry about.

What would be a problem would be if you say take a article and made 20-30 copies of it on the same domain just to attract AdSense revenues and backlinks etc.,

Avoid duplicate content issues by adding a little bit to the articles such as :

an introduction to the subject, a personal review of the article ect. To be honest as has been mentioned above youe should not face to many issues using article directory content..
