I think selling wholesale is a good way to earn. You can have less profits per item but you would earn really fast because people are looking for things that they can buy really cheap speeding your items' turnover rate. What do you think?

The problem is getting the distributorship with the manufacturers. Many have agreements that only approved sellers can retail their products and they have certain rules which must be followed like not selling on auction sites. I guess if you found a way to do it it would be great. There is a lot of competition because of eBay...people looking to find wholesale products to retail on eBay.

That's the traditional chinese way, moving a lot of products at little profit per. Judging from the success of Chinese businessmen, and the fear they breed in the hearts of their competitors, selling products at wholesale prices is good business strategy.

If the manufacturers have approved sellers then all I have to do is become and approved seller right? That doesn't seem to be difficult. I just don't understand why would some manufactureres prohibit selling in auction sites. Their products would sell there so I think they should be happy about it. Thanks for the tip. |
