Default Have you been scammed by online jobs?

Have you been scammed by online jobs? I am trying my option now in concentrating more on online jobs. But alot of people are telling me to be careful on which online jobs to join because they could just scam me and take away my money... especially if online jobs require you to pay something like registration fee so you can work for them.

Of course you should always keep your guard. Most online jobs promise a great, easy future ahead but according to the many people I've come across online, 99% of them are scams. But at least there's still the 1% that could challenge and give you hope .

I haven't been scammed by online jobs and I don't have any plans of being so.
I am very careful when it comes to these things because I am a very lazy person so when i sweat, i want to make sure that it's worth it. Otherwise, I'd rather do other jobs like doing some chores at home. Besides, i can earn from it because it is my mom's greatest dream to see me working my muscles.

I have been scammed twice. The first one was the infamous stuffing envelopes scam and the other was addressing envelopes. The addressing envelopes job seemed legit until I did all the work required of me and then I never got paid. Sometimes is can be hard to distinguish between ligament opportunities and scams.

I've participated on online survey jobs but then I haven't got paid. The good thing is I never invested any money on it. But on this online job that I am now, I'm having doubt because I already reached the minimum pay out but then new rules came out and we have to pay monthly fees in advance before I got my check! It's very risky but then that's life!

It's interesting to see how "envelope stuffing" seems to be on top of the list! Stay Away PLEASE! I have been scammed, scammed and scammed with those. The bad thing is: They are not going away! Their copywriters are so good at the "hyping" job, that people still fall victim despite the warnings.

I have been on the Internet for over eight years now, and the easiest business I have seen in years is on my signature. It has both short-term and long-term benefits.

The short-term benefits are the constant $50 you get for marketing the product - The AD SYSTEM. The Long-term benefit is that you will have a list of legitimate customers that you can market your other products and programs to in future, instead of wasting time and money doing "blind marketing."

With that, I think I'm done with the "merry-go-round" of online marketing.

Exactly! You are looking for online jobs to generate income. Why is there a need to pay something? That is so ridiculous. In my desire to work from home I have tried countless websites that promise work from home jobs. One of them is TrafficSwarm.

Here's one of the testimonials from their site:

$750 the first week
"TrafficSwarm.com was responsible for $750 in new sales the very 1st week I tried it. Anyone who wants free traffic will have to look long and hard to find free Internet advertising like this!"

I don't know if this is even a scam but I took no more actions after some time. They say that one of the ways to earn from trafficswarm is by referral.

Not all sites that require payment when signing up is a scam. I happen to know a few people who have earned money from Type International, which requires a starting fee of $40 I think. You cannot expect to earn money overnight and you definitely cannot expect to earn (in legit businesses) without lifting a finger (to work) or shelling out a few buck (if investing). Ponzis and matrices might earn you money in the start but those further downline (the ones referred by your referrals) end up earning nothing or even losing money.

Maybe it depends on what are you paying for. Like, what would that company be doing with your 40$? Are they giving people something in return like a starting kit or somehting? Sometimes sites just asks for money...
