Default Christmas Giveaways

Christmas is just around the corner and a lot of people are using this season to earn extra cash. Anybody here who creates cookies, chocolates or candies and sell them as Christmas gifts?

Last Christmas, I gave a bagtag each of my officemates. I wonder what will be my Christmas gift to them this Christmas? What I have in mind is a signing pen with their engraved name. How was that?

Two years ago my mother in law just made I think some pastillas for giveaways to her business friends. She put it in a small box jsut to look good. But she was having a hard time doing it so now she just bought some picture frames, watches, shirts and toys for her giveaways this Christmas.

I think it would be a nice gift. Some people are using personalized gift items as gifts. Other items that can be personalized are hats and towels. As long as it is not the same gift last year, I think it is okay.

Making food items as Christmas gifts really takes time. It will be best to start making the food items early part of December especially if you have a lot to make.

Thank you, I hope they like it. It's a bit pricey but I won't mind, as long as they like what I have for them. As I've said, I gave them bagtag last christmas and yes, it was also a personalized gift. I guess, they wouldn't be surprised if I will give them another personalized gift for this christmas.

If you're making food early then it should be something that won't be perishable in just a few weeks. Pastillas would be such a great choice. But if you ask me, I prefer fruits rather than foods. Apples and oranges, for instance.

it would be nice to be remembered by friends and acquaintances during this Season. The usual token of people for Holidays like this are material things but it doesn't matter to me if i receive material things or anything as llong as they DO REMEMBER ME? Isn't it nice to know someone remembers you?

Making your own gift items would cost you less, too. I find handmade gifts more precious because I know that the person who gave me that gift took his / her time making it. But as lynbagoyo said, it is the thought that counts.

What I do during Christmas is not buy gifts or token and give to people I love, but instead I bake cookies, put them in a nice container and add ribbon on top. I don't sell them but I use it as a christmas giveaway or gift to someone I love, it has a personal touch in it.
