I am looking to buy a subway franchise. Is this business profitable assuming the location is good and one is managing it well by keeping cost down. But how much can one make? 25K/50K/100K per year. After many years does one break even. The next question is why are there so many SUBWays on sale? You never see a DUNKIN Donut on sale. |

Have you Googled that? You might be surprized with what comes up. Do a lot of research before you leap.

Subway is everywhere and Dunkin Donuts is not. Where I live in Florida there is an enormous amount of subways as opposed to one Dunkin Donuts in a 30-mile radius.

I think you can found Subway everywher in the country but you can't found more Dunkin Donuts easily. Also Subway is becoming more and more popular because of healthy food.

Talkhome, I love subway and so do many other people - I think it would be a success, but I would definitely do a lot of research first. Have you thought about walking into a few different subways and talking to some of the employees or the manager and ask them how's business, or if its been busy - and see how many customers they have at each time of the day.
