I have a friend (acqaintance) that was running a Little Caesars Pizza franchise and he was under strict orders to offer certain things during certain times. So if Little Ceasars was not promoting buffalo wings this month, then TJ could not offer them. He got fed up with the rules, but he did not tire of his love of running his pizzaria. He disassociated himself from Little Caesars and is now the proud owner of TJs Pizza, home of the 5.00 dollar pepperoni pizza, lol ![]() I have another friend that has some issues with his franchise agreement. He is not allowed to offer a certain type of salad dressing to his customers because it is the rules of the franchise. He's not too happy and neither are his customers. Getting caught up in it can be frustrating I imagine. |

The one thing about a franchise is that they are successful businesses. They have proven themselves to be players in the market place and that is why you pay to have that system for success. You follow what they did to be successful and you will too. If he started his own restaurant with the same food but not with the name recognition do you think he would have been as successful? It depends on the location and type of food too I guess. But what he got was the formula for success.
