Having an online business seems to be perfect because there are no bosses to please and we have the luxury of controlling our schedule. Would you leave your job to start an online business even if you are uncertain about your success?

Nope. I need my job for our present survival. Several business gurus also does not recommend leaving a sure source of income for something uncertain. What they recommend instead is start something while holding on to your present job until your business is on a roll.

I agree with 10cents. Making online business as a part-time is a good choice. If you can't handle it and you're making folds of money compare to your current job then why leave it? You can't guarantee a life-time income when you are in homebased business.

Not at the moment. I love my profession and I'm not ready to leave it yet. But I'm playing with the idea of having a homebusiness. Nice to have an established one for my retirement years.

No, I won't unless the online business is already stable with me on it. It's easy to get excited about a great opportunity found online but don't go jumping to this opportunity and quitting your job right away. Try it out first to see if it's worth the sacrifice. If it is, then go for it.

if ever i have a stable job right now i won't give it up. online business on my own opinion is just a part time job that you could do during your spare time. I am a stay at home mom and online jobs are very helpful to me because I could earn a lot during my free time

I will not leave my job because of online job opportunities. I have a stable job right now and earning online is just a bonus. I may work fulltime on these online opportunities if I stopped working at the office already.

Small online business are also quirky and the market is not that stable. What sells now may not tomorrow. If we search around there are only a handful of smaller online businesses that lasted for more than a decade.

Yes, I already did. I hated my job with passion so I ventured into taking online jobs. I’m earning less now but I can’t complain. I will be starting an online business soon and as soon as it’s up and earning I’ll be working in the office again. It’s the other way around for me.
