Default Start young

When I was in the third grade I started selling lemonades at the front of our house to our neighbors every summer. The business was good then and I learned the tricks of the trade at a very young age. I guess that was very helpful for me.

Yeah, it's always best to start anything early and get a feel for it. I only started doing these kinds of things in grade 8, but I was able to learn quite quickly.

That's how the chinese do it, start 'em young. Their children usually helps out at the store as soon as they can walk. Of course I am exagerrating :-) but they are usually given an advance educaiton in business at a young age.

When I was young, I always wanted to venture into business. Perhaps there really was a part of me that knows that I will be into business when I grow up. I'm a big girl now, and I started my business like 4 years ago. It was tough but it was worth it.

It’s indeed helpful to start young. You get to know the value of money and learn how to be responsible and spend it wisely. I have not had the same experience as some of you here. Mine is different in the sense that I help out in the selling business of my cousins instead of running a business of my own.

It is a good experience for kids to have a little business of their own. It will instill discipline in them. I think our children should all be given little responsibilities so they know how to be responsible in all their dealings.

Whoever was it who said "everything I learned in life, I learned in kindergarten." must have a firm grasp on what life is about. It is important to incalculate the proper values to kids while they are still young. And these includes business principles if you want them to become successful entrprenerus.

I think starting on a business while you are young is really a plus factor in order to be successful in a business. A lot of people say that younger people are more creative in a business rather than the old timers. The old timers may have all the experience that they need but the younger generations have the edge in creating fresher ideas.

Yes, you are right but a lot of young people are still not business-minded. They are more on professional people. How did you advise to the kids to learn the business while they are young?

I think you do need to encourage them to pursue their dreams and risks while they're young and be more flexible. It teaches them how to be smart about it at the same time.
