Not with family or close friends. Maybe online friends or newbies? Maybe combined your talents? Or would that be just as deadly as doing it with close people? Money can be a real deal breaker.

It depends on what you're getting into. For example, if you want to do a business of selling templates but you can only design and not code, then maybe partnering up with someone who can code would be beneficial to you.

Partnering and bartering services is very common in the online world. If you go to some webmaster forums you will see a lot of people trading services and selling services. As far as partnering together on a project and sharing the profits... that is very rare.

I think collaborating with different online contacts as long as you feel that they are trustworthy can be a great partnership. Great minds think alike and if you have the same goal then you should be all set.

Partnering happens often on the online world, it is best to find someone that is sharing the same interest and mindset as you. It is always good to have a common goal.

I have seen people trading on forex. I would consider as a partnering business because one of them are lending help with money and the other partner are helping him to buy according to his knowledge of investment.

Partnering would be the same that is also called partnership. Whether with an unseen collaborator on the Net, or with someone who you work with physically, it has its pros and cons. A good partner can be one of the bifggest assets you own.

There are good and bad points to partnering with someone online. Like it was said, you might want to design templates but don't know how to code. I personally would be much more cautious about partnering up with someone online, especially if there was money involved. There are legitimate people wanting to have legitimate businesses, but there are more and more scammers everyday. |

I think that a partnership can definitely have its benefits, sometimes one person is better at one thing where as the other is better at another, or they are both just good at the same things, in either case if each is trustworthy and it benefits all involved to work together, then I say why not go for it.

When it involves money, there must be some kind of a written agreement between the two of you. If it is with a partner you only know online, I guess it would be best to set things at the beginning so not to have any tension in the end.
