What do you guys know about setting up a mobile website? A little bit ago I was waiting on my little sister to finish her shift at work so I could take her home, and while I was doing that I was surfing this website as well as a few others. They were surfable, but took forever to load and process the PHP and all that fun stuff. I am thinking about setting up a mobile portion of my website for the users, but don't know much about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I think this is a great question as I surf the net with my phone all the time, and most websites are such an unbelievable hassle. I found a link that should help you with setting up your page to be mobile-friendly. This is a series of forum posts on the topic, with links to tutorials and explanations. I hope this helps. Keep up posted on how it goes! I'd be willing to "beta test" your site from my phone if need be. d;

I love the idea, have thought about it a few times myself. And especially since it's becoming ever so popular. It is a good technique that would definitely draw and retain visitors to your site. I think I will look into it as well, seems like it would be worth while in the long run. We have to change as technology changes to get a good grip on the internet and it's values to us and our businesses. Staying up with technology always puts a company in a valued position in the list of businesses out there. Hypnotique |
