I want to know whether it is possible for a person to start home business without any investments? If possible then how long will it take to start doing some income? Finally what are the steps to be taken to start a home business.

You need some cash to start any business, but as your business grows, you can receive high income. It's a matter of getting clients. If you make the services you offer too inexpensive, you are going to lose profits. It's recommended to add ad-space on your businesses Websites as your business grows, that way you will receive that extra income. Good luck.

Normally artp01 you will need some cash to start a business, however, if you have some great skills you might be able to substitute them for work. For example if you are good with Photoshop, you could look at creating logo designs and banners just by posting your services on this forum. There have been several businesses started with little to no investments. Dell started his company in his garage for $1000. Identify your skills you might be closer than you think.

I always thought that it takes money to make, but there is always an alternate, but if you really put your all into it, everything will pan out and you will have financial freedom.

Yes, most businesses require money to start it up, but it depends on the extent of the business. I'm not too sure about this because I have never looked into it myself, but if you do want to make a business "official" you should take the time to get a license and get it registered in your name, etc. If I was doing small freelance work for graphic design jobs, then I probably wouldn't get a license, and I have completed small jobs for people. The only problem is that I am not 18 now, so I can't register a business into my name. Now, if I was to work on projects that involved hundreds of dollars every project, I would go ahead and try to get a business. Most jobs on a business level would probablly involve some sort of contract as they don't want their logo or unique content to be resold. I don't know about everybody else, but I don't want to be signing contracts in my name, without a business name entitled to mine. Any problems that occur can essentially be brought back to me, which is not the idea I would be shooting for. I would like to be protected by the business, and if they sue me,"me" would be the business.

You think thats good. Have you heard of the Hotmail Story? To make a LONG story very short. Guy moved from India to the USA with $1.00 to his name. He was able to Purchase Hotmail.com. Offered it to bill gates for the first time and bill said he would pay arounf 40 million for it. Indian Guy said no, it was worth more. Six months later he sold it to Bill for 400 Million. All this in less than a year! You can search on MSN.com for the full story. Thats Inspiring! |

I started my business with NO money whatsoever. I actually had a guy who believed in me for writing articles and being a moderator on his site, He in essense paid me to start a business so he could hire me. He built, bought and did everything for my first business website and well I took it from there, I am now a local business in my area, have been in business since late 2003 and have made quite alot of money. I slowed down this summer and sold off a few websites paid off some bills and am enjoying learning more things in my area of business.
