Well, how does it keeping the cookie help? Normally people don't check their history for the URL. I guess that would just hurt you because it gives clicks but no lead or sign up which is worse for your CTR isn't it? ![]() The affiliate program I would rather use is Cafe Press

Well, it is actually a little different. I think there is a affiliate part of it where if people sign up through you, you make money but the main thing I use it for is to make a store. You can make a store for free and make your stuff online (Design shirts, etc) then sell it on your website for a higher price than what you pay. You only buy the stuff when someone pays you for it.

I do well with affiliate programs but you need targeted traffic to make sales. You must know your audience and market products or services accordingly. Don’t set unrealistic goal and keep working at your sites. A good start is to make a website on a topic you understand and then look for relevant products services to sell there. To get traffic submit your sites to web directories, exchange links with quality sites in your niche, write articles and submit them to article directories, write a press release, participate in forums and advertise your site in your signature. There are many ways to generate traffic just play around with these methods and you will soon find out what works best for you.

That is true. If you do not know what kind of traffic you are getting, there is no way to predict your results. If you have a website dedicated to 1 topic, hopefully all the visitors are targetted traffic (Meaning they all enjoy that topic), so you would put up only affiliates that match the main topic of your website and whatever interests your readers the most. Offer reviews and stuff to entice the readers to buy the product as well

For a new guy its very difficult now, they cant make good income with affiliate programs, because most of the peoples now buying through Comparison markets like pricegrabber. But if you can find a good product, then create a good splash page and send your targetted traffic to that page. About the adwords, are you going to throw away your money? Johalber |
