I have many, but only use 2. One for everyday purchases, the other is on my husbands paypal account. I pay mine off every month plus I get cash back-that really is the only reason I use them. When we moved we got rid of around 10 and it took my credit score down by around 100 points-so I decided to keep the rest. I check my credit report once every 4 months. My husband says I am anal, but my sister had her identity stolen and it caused her lots of problems so I probably am.

I have a couple in case of emergency. However, I really do dislike them! I'm a cash kind of man...with a list of my needs on one side, and then my wants on the other side. Try to never mix these two together. This plan has always kept me out of debt.

I used to have 6-7 credit cards mostly maxed out due to IM and personal purchases. It became uncontrollable. Now I closed all and in the process of paying it off. I now only have my debit card connected to Paypal for all IM purchases which since then had considerably gone down. Robert |

Sometimes it makes sense to use the "right" card. When spending tens-of-thousands of dollars per month on ads, you definitely want to find a good card that will allow you to reap the rewards.

Hi Jamison, I'm looking forward to the day I'll be spending $10K+ in ad costs ![]() For now, I just opened a separate checking account with debit card exclusively for IM. This account is still under my main bank account. The good thing about the debit card here, according to the bank manager, is it will accumulate rewards too. Not sure though if IM expenses are qualified for rewards. But at least, I now got personal and IM transactions separate. I should've done this long time ago. Robert |

There are a lot of cards out there. If you don't find the right business card that provides rewards, you are really cheating yourself. As you get into high-dollar transactions, the rewards are substantial. |
