Register a business account? With a bank?

I don't think it cost me anything to set up a business account at the bank. All I had to do was show them I had a registered business. I re-new the business name, HomeBusiness Websites every year for $55. Since I work online, and my business doesn't create any additional traffic to the neighbor-hood, zoning laws aren't applicable.

Do you use a business office address? Or do you strictly work from home?

I work from home. All of my clients know it. There are 2-3 people who work for me part-time. They work out of their own homes as well.

It works out really well. Clients never call after normal office hours unless it is an emergency but in emergency situations (for example: if a server goes down) I think they are comforted by the fact that they can contact me, if the need arises.

I don't have any local clients. Most of them are from the US, although I have/had clients from Australia, New Zealand, France, U.K. and Canada.

All of my clients are from outside my place, and no one is there to disturb me at the wee hours. As I works for almost 16 hrs a day online, none of my clients have a tendency to disturb me. And I have a business account with my banker.

So far, all of my clients are completely online. I really like not having to worry about the phone ringing at all hours. I much prefer to communicate via IM or email

To open an account at bank, you need all these documents .
