Default Financing Business

If you are going to start a financing business for appliances how much do you need as starting capital? Is it necessary to hire an accountant that would facilitate everything even if you have an idea how to run the business? What is the competitive interest rate per annum?

Capital would depend on what you are planning to finance. If you'll finance cars and motorcycles you need millions. But if you're going to finance home appliances hundred thousands would be enough.

I think it would be a good idea to have an accountant when you're dealing with that amount of cash. At least then you have some security if everything doesn't come out right at tax time.

The amount of capital you need depends on the scale of business you need to go to. Don't let anyone scare you, though. You can build a successful business starting from a few thousand bucks and going one step at a time. But well financed businesses do tend to do better, because the capital itself does draw people to your shop, as in, people go the best stocked shop - where shop stands for any point of market presence.
The accountant - it is advisable to have an accountant - even if a part-time freelancer right from the first business step to help you develop sound financial systems for your business, a key success factor in most businesses.
Best of luck in your planned venture. Approach it with confidence, and take care.
