Receiving payroll every 15th and 30th of the month is the most common scheme in our country but in our company, we receive our salaries once a month. For employers out there, do you practice payroll giving once a month, too?
I prefer the 15th and 30th of the month. Whatever dates as long as I've been paid twice a month. Receiving payroll just once a month is really hard because you have to wait for it. Although days passes by so easily I still prefer the twice a month payroll scheme. I never experienced being payed once a month doing office works but just recently I was payed once a month on an online job.
I also prefer receiving my salary twice a month. It would be easier to have an intact budget. It is very hard to have all your money for a month. A lot of temptations could arise and you could end up buying things you do not need because you think you have a lot of money.
Our office also gives our salary once a month. My wife is having a hard time to budget our money for the whole month. Good thing I have savings in bank that I could get every time I'm running out of budget on later days of the month.
I would not mind receiving my salary on a monthly basis if I get a hefty pay. However if my pay is just enough to make both ends meet, I would prefer to receive my pay at least twice a month.
