This time of the year happens every year and it has been said that it is a season for giving and sharing. For employers out there, do you give Christmas bonuses to your employees? How much are you giving them? Is it required in your country or it depends on certain aspects such as company performance?

I am not a boss but then my mother in law owns her homebased marketing research company. Every year as long as the company has a bountiful od projects, she just gives out some groceries to her outstanding field researchers aside from giving them their 13th month fee.

Based on my experience company christmas bonus depends on company performance and employees performance. Some are given full 100% some are just given a little less than 70%. If your not worthy enough to receive one it is the discretion of the management if they would let you get one bountiful christmas bonus or not. You would be lucky enough if you get one. Some company cant give any bonuses to their employees.
