Does your accounting year match up with your countries tax year or not? I just started trading a few months ago, and technically I could elect to run my tax year in such a way that I could go almost 15 months before having to file a tax return. I don't think I want to do this though - I'd rather file a return in April and then just run from April to April to keep things nice and easy.

What sort of calendar do you run your books under?
