It is essential to have a separate business accounts to show all of your debits and credits specifically for the business. If you do it this way you can make a trip to the bank tax expenditure, and you don't need to worry about trying to separate everything come tax time.

Never, never mix the two accounts. You will njever be able to keep travck of any of your debits and credits of your business if you mix the two. This way you will know exactly how much you are making or not making !!!

KEEP IT SEPERATE and especialy if you have a shared account with your husband... legaly it doesn't matter since most home businesses are done under sole priopriotership and your assests are the same as your companies but from an accounting perspective, save yourself the trouble.
