I think Global Resorts Network (GRN) is another good business opportunity. It is a solid company and the network marketing program is top-notch. It has been around for a while, and people have been very successful in this business.

Global Resorts Network is basically a vacation membership. They have really good deals on travel packages that allow you to stay in top resorts around the world. I have a GRN membership and I can tell you that on a single trip to Aruba, the membership almost paid for itself.

The travel is one of the largest markets there is, so this opportunity appeals to a high-percentage of people. Although, travel is a little slower right now, so it is not quite as attractive as it is in a better economy. That being said, there is still a good amount of opportunity in this business if you approach it the right way.

Since it has been around for a while, it is a little more saturated than some of the newer network marketing opportunities. Many networkers that jump in and out of opportunities have already been involved with GRN and have moved on. However, there is still plenty of appeal to people who are looking to get involved in their first home business.

I do a lot of traveling...so I'd be interested in getting into something like GRN. What more can you tell us??

Sometimes, I wonder if this isn't part of the demise of most network marketers. Instead of finding a company or 2 that they can put their heart into, they jump into each new thing that comes along. What they're doing is falling prey to a piece of good marketing. Time they spent surfing might have been better spent developing the business they're already in.

Better to take a little time and do a thorough examination of the company, decide whether it's really something you can get passionate about and if not, move on. BEFORE you get in.

Wasn't Chris Campbell also offering Global Resorts Network? How'd that go for him--if anyone knows?

Global Resorts Network is the marketing Arm of a travel company that has been in business for over 20 years. They are a legitimate business that is providing access to luxury accommodations worldwide under their membership program. The weekly stays cost anywhere from $298.00 to $699.00 per week. These are the same properties that people buy as a timeshare, but instead of paying a large sum to own the week plus annual maintenance fees, we pay a one time lifetime membership fee and only pay for the weeks as we use them. If you do the math you will see that Global Resorts Network (GRN) can be a much better deal than a timeshare.

The added benefit is that you can make this into a home based travel business if you want to. Isn't that why we are all here??

Yep. Chris Campbell was involved. I believe he made a good amount of money from it. I think GRN is a great opportunity.

Holidays are a good business to sell. Any ideas for luxury holiday businesses, those are quite stable downturn or no downturn.

Do you think that people have slowed down or stopped their traveling plans because of the state our economy is in? Is GRN suffering in any way or is this still a lucrative decision to get into??

There is no question that people have slowed down on travel plans - that's why the major airlines are in trouble. Whether that's effected GRN, I don't know for sure, but it would stand to reason you'd think. Perhaps a long time GRN member could give an honest indication of how their own business is performing these days.

I have definitely cut out a few trips due to money. Everything is so expensive and even the baggage fee is ridiculous. Gas prices have gone done and they are still charging...what a rip-off. I am not a GRN member, but I am sure that there are some killer deals going on right now through them.
