everybody knows that myspace is huge, i dont use it much anymore, i just dont like it i guess, and there is no way it can beat google, google rocks, i heard somebody bought myspace from that guy tom, somebody else told me i dont know

I don't really like myspace either.
Why use myspace when you could get your own site and make it 100 times better. I would have to say there are loads of members on there tho.

over 70 million people, and myspace is the most visited site, but ONLY in the UNITED STATES, not the world, google still ranks #1 in the world, myspace is just lucky and got #1 spot in the U.S.

I'd like to own that site and put some ads on it, i think it would be earning like $10,000 a day in revenue.

MySpace is becoming MySpamSpace, everyone's using it to 'promote' (spam) their products/sites. :P

The big problem with myspace, is if you setup and promote yourself on that site, in the end it is THEIR site... You would be better off setting up your own site - at least you would have some control.

MySpace is like being a small fish in a very large sea. There are so many people on it - I think the hype is the reason why so many people come to it and become members. If anyone here has made any money on it - or has had some really good experiences with it - do let us know. Then maybe I will change my opinion about it.

I am really not that surprised that Myspace is that big. Around here that is all that everyone talks about, and I know a few people that spend all day at work on their Myspace pages adding things and talking to all of their friends. Google will always be number one because it is so useful.
