I was watching a video a few months back that contained BIG numbers for the Internet. Here are some startling facts...

100 billion clicks per day
55 trillion links
5% of global electricity used by Internet
255 exabytes of information
7 terrabytes of data transferred every second

Those are some staggering numbers, especially that 55 trillion links. I think these were numbers based on the years 2007/2008.
