Alot of free hosting companies actually make quite a huge profit on the quiet. They either do this via selling advertising space on your website, or they will simply give you small hosting specs so that you would need to upgrade in order for your website to stay online.

You may be thinking that some free hosts don't places ad campaigns on your website, and they don't offer premium hosting plans either, well correct, that is true.

They would then probably make money from there other online/offline ventures. A free hosting company will always make money so how or another, think of it this way, why would they pay for dedicated servers without getting anything back?

Yup these are true. Those are always worthless hosts. They are not reliable always also.

yup that can be a source. But is that fund if he is holding a big free hosting community?

But there are so many who doesn't give the hosting only free they also provide the upgrade for free. you can think like the http://www.lifelesspeople.com they have no paid hosting plan. They are holding three servers. and they are on the free hosting business for more then 6 years. Whats your thinking? how they earn actually??
