I have!
It seemed like I was getting so much information about stuff and getting so excited, but all I was doing was reading more and more and not doing anything...

I had to take a break and start all over again, with one idea at a time. Slowly started to work on things in steps and when I heard about something else just added it to my favorites so I would know to go back to it once I was done with the tasks at hand!

Just like the tortoise and the hare... The tortoise was slow, but he won the race in the end!

What you said is so true Jasmine, I find that I have to stop and take a look at where I am going by taking tiny steps. There are so many opportunities on the internet but I have found that I can't commit to any one of these programs because more info keeps flooding me before I get a chance to really dig in and they all sound so good.
I find it so hard to lie to people about how successful I really am, I know that many affliates do this just to get people interested in their programs or buy the products they are promoting.
I need just one good program with the support that will enable me to make a comfortable living online, if any of you have made success from a program and think it can work for me please let me know.
thanks Pepejam

Pepejam,

You should never, I repeat NEVER lie about how successful you really are to a prospect!! One reason is because they can tell, and if they can't they will definitely find out after they sign up with you! After they find out the truth they will more than likely quit because they can't trust you to help them if you can't even help yourself...

If you are talking to a prospect about something and they ask how good you are doing, just let them know that you are still new to the company and continue to tell them why you are confident in the company... Pointing out an answer to their reason for looking at what you are offering
You are being honest, and showing them that you are there for them and that they will be able to get what they are looking for.

The only way you can do that though, is if you really believe it!! I see in a lot of your posts you ask people to tell you about businesses they are successful in so you can find one, but you need to rely on yourself... They might be successful in that business but you may not be interested in the same things as them so no matter how much support you have if it feels like a job you will hate it like a job and won't do as good as you would if you really enjoyed and loved the product or service.

Do you understand what I'm trying to say?

Jasmine

Thanks Jasmine...I needed that advice, I will try and find one program that I can have the faith in and be comfortable promoting it.
That sounds much better than trying to promote several opportunities that I may not have any real participation or interest.
Suppose I am at that crossroads...I really appreciate your reply!

When it comes to information overload one little thing that helps me is to write things down instead of trusting my memory (even though it is very good). Just for online stuff it seems like I have a million passwords to remember.

Here's my advice.

Information overload only makes you stop in your tracks and not do anything!

Take one of the methods you have learnt and focus on it till you see success...

I am so at the information overload stage. Being a new business owner without much experciance is not an easy thing. I know in my heart that the company i am with truely is real and gonna be huge. This is why i keep trying and trying. I will continue untill i make money at it. I am actully working on my first cruise booking and i am so excited. You all are very helpful here without judgment i really apperciate it. Also thank you jasmine for shareing to never lie about the money you are making my goal in my business is honesty is the best policy but i was starting to doubt this because i really want to make some money. I know in the long run to be honest is the right thing to do. Thank you again.
