This is so true. You really can not expect to successfully market and sell something that you have no faith in. Too many times people choose a product or service to market that they know nothing about. They are simply following the lead of a persuasively written sales page. If you truly believe in what you are doing and are passionate about that product or service it simply stands to reason that you will be successful. You will be the best person to market that produce because you are actually marketing something that you know well. If you tried to push something on people that you have no knowledge of then you are simply another salesperson trying to earn money. If you market something that you believe in then you are someone who is trying to help others by showing them a product or service that you can prove is helpful.

You're already answered your question. Find something you enjoy and find the people who have a need, want or desire for what you have.

Look for people who have the pain and you have the cure for that pain.

There really are some legitimate companies to work with online. But as the others have said, you do have to enjoy what you are doing and believe in your product.

You just have to find the right one for you, for example im passionate about fitness, so I found a work at home program that sales fitness.

There really is no such thing as "free". Time is the most valuable thing you have. If something takes time, it is using up the most valuable thing you have. Remember that.

There are things that you can do that do not cost money to get started. I know people that focus on using Web 2.0 marketing strategies with sites like Facebook and Myspace. You can always get started with affiliate marketing using these types of sites. However, it is going to take time to learn the skills. It is also not going to happen as quickly as if you had some money to invest.

keep in mind, usually anything worth doing costs something. You can't open a restaurant for free, much like the interent. Companies that provide good products and services are not usually free. Cost inccur through affiliate websites and stuff that they give you.

You can start up a legit business for under $100 and not have any monthly charges if your choose to go this route. Just remember in most cases it takes money to make money.

If you are a marketer you can generate alot of traffic to a free program of some sort, people do make money with it.

Thes best way is to find a good product to sell, and focus on getting it out to people who can actually use it. Success can only be achieved if you can find people who have a need for your product or service.

If you really, really, really don't like to (directly) invest any money at all, you can also find a lot of interesting stuff like for example an inspiring 'Satellite Interview' with Sir Richard Branson, a lot of interesting info about 'Business Building' and a lot of other things that might give you some inspiration!

Tip, if you want to Build a Business without a lot of investing you might like to consider 'Affilliate Marketing', because that's selling 'Other People's Product's', something you can start without no or hardly andy investments other than your time!
