Too much expected for such 17 children and needed more expense.

For example, buying next school year new books for kids after Summer cost much!

Most people have 2 or less children here as they plan it carefully.

I agree with the couple in the sense that children are indeed a gift from God. I feel that all of my children were gifts, and I treasure them.
That being said, I still feel that 17 children would be alot to handle. I commend them for taking such good care of them, and they all seem to be very well mannered. My grandmother had 10 children, and I have a friend who's mother had 23!!

How many is too many?? I think they just had their 19th child if I am not mistaken.. Wowzers!!!
