It would be a good idea - but it will need watching for possible copyright infringements. These types of sections tend to become a repository for pirated content.

If you have a private forum, newbies may feel left out... but it helps prevent trolling only too... Debate!

On the other hand it might encourage those who browse as guests to sign up as members as they will be curious as to what is in the members only section.

I think a privat forum would be a very good idea, but we have to think who are going to be in there what are the characteristic to be in there and what kind of topics they are going to have.
