Wow, this is an oldie, but this is a pretty important topic and I'm surprised it died, but the reason it caught my attention is because I just got off Skype where I was chatting with one of the upline directors in my team and this is exactly what we were talking about. We had just both been on 2 phone conference calls, one of which was a training call and the other an opportunity, but both for the company I'm involved with. And I took away a key point. These calls, which we hold daily on different schedules so that everyone can access at least some of them are key to builders in the company. Every single one of the leaders and builders attend these calls live when they can, or listen to the recordings if they can't. Without exception! And I got thinking about myself and wondered if I would have been able to keep up my momentum without the calls. And in reality, I concluded, probably not. And I'm a pretty motivated sort of person and have lots of stamina once I set my sites on something, so imagine if you're just starting out and don't have that inner motivation. Not only do these calls provide inspiration in a purely emotional sense, but they are full of specific tips that you can pick and choose from in order to build your business, things you might not think of yourself, and yet they are so easy to implement. Plus there are usually people talking about their personal product experiences which are things you can use to help others understand the value of the product and the opportunity. And finally, you can ask questions! There's been a number of times that I was able to get questions answered on a Saturday morning that I otherwise would have had to wait for office hours on Monday to get answered from Support at the home office. Sooooo... how do YOU keep motivated? Do you have an upline that will teach you, back you up, three way call with you? Then stick with them. Do you have calls like I mention above in your company? Then get on them. Do you receive emails, updates, newsletters etc from the company and your upline? Then read them. Are you given business building materials? Then use them. Are you given business building tips? Then try them. I have found that if you just DO what your successful upline members are doing, you will also be successful. And then when you get that first taste of success... there'll be no stopping you!! Tula |
