Default battle of the browsers

Well the year 2006 has been a very interesting year for Web browsers & now that Opera 9, Firefox 2, IE 7 & the little known browser called Mozilla Seamonkey have been released It's time to not just say what browser you use but to also give a review of the browser that you use & why you use it. Here is my review of Firefox 2

I downloaded Firefox 2 the day it was released after using Mozilla Seamonkey for several months and I am very impressed I have had no crashes with the browser & this version is very stable which I think is quite unusual considering it is such a new version, I like the refreshing new interface it is not a major change but you do notice the new look & the inline spell checking makes it even better for typing in posts on forums like this.

I also like the security features in Firefox 2 which have been improved greatly from version 1.5 with the anti phishing feature being used in the default settings, We of course must not forget our good friend the pop-up blocking feature which saves us from those annoying pop ups while we are trying to surf the net without any aggravations.

My overall score of Firefox 2 would have to be 10/10 now some people may have downloaded the new version and found that their extensions and themes did not work, This is not the fault of Mozilla they are only responsible for the development of this browser extension and themes are made by independent authors. However in several months their will be heaps of extensions and themes to make this version of Firefox just as good if not better than version 1.5 we all look forward to reading each other's reviews so start reviewing.

Nice review man. I download all browser and try it in this year and I will give 5/10 to Internet Explorer 7, 8/10 Firefox 2 and 10/10 to Opera 9.02. Opera is best brwoser for me and I am very happy with this software.

I was a long time Opera user but recently tried Firefox 2. It definitely have some useful features and I like the nifty spell-checker. I'm switching to it. As for IE, I have it permanently disabled. I might take a peek on seamonkey, considering that it's a Mozilla offering.
