Well the Big 6 hour Black Friday sales are almost over and the lines, while huge were not as bad as they were last year! I think it wasn't as popular because the deals just weren't that great this year. I wonder if they all got together and said "this year lets take it easy so we can all make better profits"?

My boyfriend and I stopped by Walmart at 1am to see if they had restocked the controller for the Nintendo Wii that has been out of stock for the past week. Luckily there were three available, so we got one and were really pleased about that.

But I agree with you... most of the deals today weren't as good as the deals from last year.

I am still searching for a Nintendo Wii.... It seems as if the stock was all bought up last weekend on launch day but I am hearing that Nintendo has a good supply and is in the process of restocking all of the stores. Hopefuly they will get them out to the stores before Christmas!

All 1,000,000 units that were released in the USA on launch have apparently sold, but Nintendo has a steady schedule of shipments going out every week through the rest of the year, so it's worth continuing the search. It's a great system!

I have been wanting to try out the Wii myself. I didn't mind their release of the DS when that happened, I found myself owning one. Was actually quite handy considering that I traveled all the time and wanted something to do when I wasn't working. I worked 6 days a week 14-16 hour days, so, needed something laying around the hotel room.
