Default Laptop or Desktop

What do you own as your personal computer, a laptop or a desktop?

I only have a desktop and I badly want a laptop so I can bring it anywhere. With the presence of wi-fi in a number of establishments these days, I can easily get online anytime I want. I wish I could have one

I myself have a laptop. I use it mostly just at home, but I occassionally bring it elsewhere if I am going on a trip or meeting. I would rather have a desktop at home though.

The price of a laptop or a notebook has considerably gone down. I have one which I use most of the time. It is the portabililty factor that makes is better for me than the desktop. Most of the time, I need to access my files so I need a mobile PC .

I'm using a desktop, I think it's great if you're a teenager and just wants to have one on your own room. Although a laptop would be great for travelling as well as your home computer. As for now, I'll still go for desktop.

The kind of computer we could have really depends on our lifestyle. I agree that for students a desktop is the most ideal because they use it mostly for school projects and research and there’s really no need to bring a pc of your own in the school because computers are already available there. While a laptop would be beneficial for people who are into business and who are always on the go.

I have a PC for home use. It's much practical as there are a lot of upgrades and accesories available and I love to tinker with computers. At work, I'm using a laptop. However, for power graphic projects, I borrow my collegues' PC.

I have a desktop. I will be getting a laptop in the near future. I find that a laptop is especially useful when traveling. Considering wireless internet seems to be at a wide variety of hotels. I do a lot of stuff on a desktop I wouldn't be able to do on a laptop.

I use a laptop now and love it. I carry it all around the house and use it everywhere since I'm using wireless.
The keyboard and mouse are a bit of a pain, but I got a wireless keyboard and mouse recently and I use these at my desk when I need to do a lot of typing. It's just about as good as a PC.

My sister's husband has a mac laptop and he once let me use it for surfing. It was classy and I positively drooled over it. Just can't afford one though, too dear for me. I've read the new tigerOS is quite neat too.
