Default Christmas Shopping

Oh boy I am already starting to see Christmas displays in the stores and am starting to get Christmas flyers. I can't believe they start this early! I usualy don't start thinking about Christmas shopping until around the end of November.

Ho, Ho, Ho

You know, I'm actually glad tonight to see the Christmas ads on television that are replacing all of the political ads. Same goes for the flyers. I'd much rather look at stuff to buy and places to shop rather than those darn political ads!

Lucky for you guys to see those christmas displays. I guess I wont be seeing those here in Bahrain. I just moved from Manila to Bahrain as my husband took me as his dependent and since this is a muslim country, christmas is not celebrated here. Too bad for me.... Goodbye Christmas!!!

I also have not yet prepared my Christmas shopping list. I hope to buy some little stuff for my loved ones and friends. Money is tight but it always feels good to give something to the people dear to you during this occasion no matter how small it is.

I'm sorry you had to say goodbye to Christmas and so many other things too, I'm sure.

My daughter-in-law is from Thailand and they don't have Christmas. My son has taught her all of our traditions and she loves it now.

Do they make you cover your hair as well? Must be hard for a women to go into a culture like that, especialy since you came from one where women are so liberated. Culture shock for you to say the least I am sure!

Don’t be completely sad emarket. You would only miss the hustling and bustling of the Christmas rush in the Philippines but you may still celebrate Christmas within your own home I’m sure. Let’s not forget the spirit and the true meaning of Christmas

I love to shop during rush hours! Especially on christmas, I think the best time to shop is on the day before christmas, you can really feel the excitement of christmas being just around the corner! Although it gives a bit pressure to everyone
