Oh, don't tell me. You got nothing to join, didn't even come close with those old wore out marketing ways? What will you do if by chance you get lucky and get a couple of new member's? Pass along those same old tactics that didn't work for you? That's right, they don't need to know that. You really need to get this done no matter what.
Honesty is such an over whelming commodity sometimes. There's so much desire to learn, and pass it along. The leadership is so breath taking, I can't stand it. But what am I thinking, that's far and few between sometimes. It's better to be a poser and hope for the best.
Ok, I know this is sounding jaded. But so many that are new to networking, and there are always people looking for an opportunity to make money, and all I can say is. I hope you won't take advantage of their emotions in these trying times, take the money and run, good luck to you, your on your own. People deserve better!
You want to give everybody that comes on board a fair chance at building their business, if they succeed you succeed also. It only takes a few good reps in your downline to really build your business. So let's quit the hype and get real, and educate. You'll be so much better off in the long run.
Being a salesman is not what you want to be, people do not like to be sold. Many networkers waste their time on this, my company does great, they have the best comp plan, and did I mention it's completely turn-key. Like any home business this is important, but that's what people hear from all the other's.
What can you tell a prospect that will make them feel your different. You want them to feel the significance, and know that your on to something, and can sincerely teach them a useful marketing system. Something they can put to use right away, and doesn't take to much time away from you. People want to succeed, but you will first have to know how yourself! |
Hi Wildcard,
I appreciated your thoughts here. It is so true! What would be the point of teaching your team, if you're so lucky as to have one, the same ole stuff that doesn't work? And yet that is precisely what many are doing. And it's probably a major contributing factor to the drop out rate of distributors and affiliates. It contributed to my own hit 'n run efforts for years. lol Didn't make any money so ran off to the next latest and greatest. (Thankful to say I don't have to do THAT anymore!)
My goal has always been to help each and every member of my team reach their full potential. Not all will be the super-recruiters, in fact, hardly anyone is, including me, but each one contributes to overall success and should be appreciated for that. If we are taught techniques that actually work, then we can pass them along to our team, too. If your company is sound, the products are worthy, and the compensation plan makes sense, then anyone who's willing to follow your lead will be successful... and thus bring success to your business, too.
Keeps everyone happy! Tula
