Have you guys ever heard of the Blacklist Monitoring System for $149 a month?

What are your thoughts?

Have never heard of it before, but it sounds interesting. I'll have to look into it. Let us know if you decide to get it.

I guess the question to ask is...what are you doing that could potentially get you blacklisted. Because depending upon what you're doing, there are different precautions you might want to take.

A couple of thoughts as I was reviewing this thread... It sounds a little overpriced, but hey, what do I know... lol

The question on what you're doing to get black listed is a good question... and some 'bad' techniques are well known. But from my understanding, there are lot of little details that Google keeps strictly to themselves, using some kind of point system, all automated of course, that are very difficult to unveil.

This is where problems may arise...

I also don't think Google notifies you of such black listing, so you could go on your merry way completely oblivious to the fact that one or more of your pages are blacklisted.

This is likely not much of a problem with skilled SEO folks, but for someone with less knowledge....?

I personally have zero experience in this and am only repeating what I've heard... so perhaps if this is not accurate someone could clarify for us.
