There's a site called ripoffreport.com where you can check out any company to see if they have ever been reported as being a scammer. It's handy to have when trying to get involved with a new company or project.

| Tula is right. You can't believe a lot of the stuff you read on sites like that. I don't care for those sites and the others like scam.com, because there is so much garbage and false information. There are people that live on the forums on these types of sites and they don't have anything better to do than make negative posts about subjects they know very little about. I think there needs to be legislation passed against some of these sites. I am all for freedom of speech, but false accusations and slander can be very damaging to a company. |

Those are some good points Tula and Jamison...thanks for playing the devil's advocate and not always agreeing with everyone. We need more people like you guys in the forum. |

I agree. This is a major problem. Many of the people making comments on sites like scam.com and the many others do not know what they are talking about. Beware of what you read on these sites!

| As the saying goes... take it with a grain of salt. It's always good to know what's going on out there, but don't believe everything.

Good points in never trusting everything you believe for most sites. However, one of the best sites I've seen (although it deals a little bit more on the zany side) is snopes.com

I agree ripoff report is garbage. They ruin a lot of peoples reputations.I think they are the scam.If you do some information you'll see all the lawsuits against them. They make it to easy for someone to report them as a scam.If I believed anything they had to say I wouldn't be making money online today.Same for all the similar sites. It's not right.
