We... click on the links.
We... surf the net signing up at stupid sites.
We... download unknown files.

So, for the most part, it's about training yourself (AND anyone else allowed to use your computer) to act responsibly while online because there are some not very nice people out there.

Good point Tula...maybe we are setting ourselves up for these things to happen.

I always make it a point to try and notify pay pal, e-bay or the bank Etc of phishing e-mails I receive. I simply forward it to the real entity address.
