When I use PPC for my list building efforts I only use the Google content network. This way the clicks are cheap and the leads are highly targeted. You can build a huge list this way depending on your budget. Tip: Try to create urgency on your squeeze page when doing this and you will see your opt in rate sky rocket. Out of ten clicks I had 8 sign ups!! (Double opt in) Payed 20 cents a click x 10 = $2.00 for 8 highly targeted leads. That's pretty reasonable since you can keep selling them. |

To be brutally honest... well never mind. Suffice to say that in my opinion, to stretch my request for information on a specific product or service to mean that I'm interested in just any ol' product or service is abusive. Wonder if they'd do that to their neighbor if they were looking them in the eye? |

Personally, I would not want leads that are being sold to more than one person. How leads are generated plays a HUGE role in the quality and effectiveness of the leads. IMHO, people are much better off learning how to generate their own leads. If you do it correctly, (often with a funded proposal) you can actually get paid to market your business. That's right. If you set it up right, you can get paid to generate leads for yourself. If you have an effective way to generate leads, why sell them anyway? If you know how to market effectively, you can make money over and over on the back-end. People don't necessarily like being sold over and over to different people. If people don't understand that this is what is going to happen, it is an easy way to turn quality prospects into bad leads in a hurry. Oh yeah... This is not directed at you redbream. I don't know your system or what you are up to. I am just speaking in general. Jamison |

Jamison,I defiantly don't sell my leads I was merely giving people an idea of the cost on the content network. When i said "keep selling them" I meant keep selling the person not the actual lead. Like you said Jamison if you have good leads why sell them? Sorry about that MY BAD. |

I think it would be a great Idea to start a new thread. Who knows I might let the cat out of the bag and let a few people in on a auto responder script I bought. The best part about my auto responder is... * I pay No monthly fees at all. * I can have as many subscribers as I want and I don't get charged one penny for having to many. * I can send as many broadcast as I want without getting penalized like some auto responders services charge people for sending to many. * I can make as many mailing list as I want. Basically I have a complete auto responder system on my website and it cost me nothing. Oh sorry it cost me $9 to buy and I got it installed for free? All I do when I make a new website is just unzip a fresh copy of the script, get it installed on my website, upload my squeeze page (by the way you can pick up a heap of professional done templates for a few dollars) find some good plr products to give away and I then use the Google content network for traffic to get my leads. Just think you could start building a list of highly targeted subscribers for $9 and it cost around $25 to get it installed provided your web hosting supports the script. Still $34 is a bargain and no more to pay. Last edited by redbream; 05-06-2009 at 11:44 PM. Reason: bit untidy |
