Default Spam = Scam?

We receive a lot of spam mails almost everyday and it is really annoying to find it filling out inbox. Have you ever tried to actually take a spam mail seriously? Are these mails generally scam?

Some are some aren't. I wouldn't try anything from spam emails just for the simple fact that it's spam.

I try to reward people using acceptable methods of selling online. I feel like if I participate in the use of spam in any form I'm promoting it. So I don't spam and I won't use anything presented in spam.

I receive a lot of spam mails daily on my inbox but don't take them seriously because it is really a waste of time reading their mails. All I do is just delete them whenever I see one because they occupy a large space on my inbox although sometimes they are located on bulk mail but then there are mails on my Inbox too.

I am doing the same way. I tend to delete it automatically especially if there is a big FREE in the subject line. It is really annoying especially if I am expecting an important mail and my inbox gets full because of spam mails.

Nope, I delete them as soon as I open my mails. As Heidi said, you'll be giving them undue credit if you even open one. I think the only way to combat spam is to ignore them. When spammers realize people does not open their mails, they'll see their just wasting their time, effort, and money sending them.

I do not even bother to read mail that is spam. I don't think everything is a scam but I just find unsolicited mail annoying.

Spamming is not scamming. Spam is used for scam. A scam is not necessarily a spam because anybody can be scammed without being spammed. As stated spam is an excessive distribution of unsolicited mails.

A spam is definitely not necessarily a scam...however a good set of spam contains scams so just watch out.
