Default Report a Scam

If you, a friend or a family member has been victimized by a scam spoof email make sure you get your account locked down as soon as possible and then make sure you report them to the authorities. The FBI has an internet protection group that you can report things to by going to:

http://www.ic3.gov/

Hopefuly you won't need to use these guys but is good to know that there is someone out there that will try and hunt these crminals down.

There are an amazing number of emails that come to us in India, which talk about how they need your password and Id of your bank account in oprder to make some corrections. Unfortunately our government watchdogs are not as good as those in the US, and internet fraud has become very common.
Hopefully people will become smarter as they become more familiar with the systems.

I can't believe people anywhere will actually give their password and id! Sending out your id is not that scary but your password? People should be aware that a password should not be given out to anybody and should only be known by you alone.
