Everyone knows all of the stories of how other people got banned from adsense without doing anything wrong but the truth is that there is some ways to stop it but some are not preventable.

I have received a e-mail from the adsense team saying that invalid clicks were spotted coming into my account. I had asked them if it came from my IP, how many clicks, and etc but they will not disclose any information.

As they said "Sorry, we do not discuss how we monitor the members of the adsense program"

So, supposably I was getting invalid clicks, which I suppose were multi-clicking. That is one problem with adsense, because if someone wants to make you get banned, there is 2 easy ways.

1) They can click on your ad 10 times or so at once and unless they have a adsense account, you get the blame

2) They go to View -> Source and they get your adsense pub-ID code, then they may put it on their website which is against Adsense TOS so you will get banned for that.

I think the real problem that adsense is facing is all of the ways that fake clicks can come in, because if someone went to a library and went to each computer simultaneously, then they may get about 100 free clicks in within a hour and Google will not notice it.

I personally believe that adsense has opened too soon because alot of things need to be fixed before it works properly. I am scared to dedicate earnings to my adsense because I may get banned for nothing.

People can just be rude, or have a grudge on you and because they are jealous, you can get banned and lose out on extra money.

I think that adsense should be thought over again by Google to find the best possible thing to solve this.

I suggest that they make it so each IP address can only click a ad (1 of each type) once a day, this will stop multiple clicking, so when they click it a second time, it says "Sorry, you have already clicked a ad today", or something like that. Making sure they dodge the delete cookies and code it within the advertisement itself, and not just in the cookies of that persons computer.

I had the same thing I started an adsense campaign and all was going well then as you had I recieved an email from Google saying that I had invalid clicks on my adsense campaign.

And again the same as yourself the info they had collected was protected, However the campaign was kept alive once I pointed out the amount of money they were taking from my accout for my adwords campaigns.

So it makes you wonder was I being attacked by a multi clicker or was it completly innocent ????

Even I see a sudden raise in clicks, I will contact Adsense immediately. Usually they will just take away the clicks and say Thank You.

wow, yes they should reconcider the entire thing. There are so many things about it that are not fair and dont make sense anyways. This just adds to it. Thanks for the heads up!

It is so damn easy to be banned from ad sense it makes me think twice if it's even worth it. Everyday there seems to be a new agenda and a new rule.

The money involved with Adsense makes it worth while. Yes they are heavy handed on fraud but they have to be in order to protect themselves and the people who they are representing. I am sure they are working on a solution.

I'm not sure how worthwhile it is if you are paying for ads and having fraudulent clicks. It's not helping you make money it's only helping you lose money, right?

All I can speak to is my experience and up to date it has been worthwhile for me helping my business expand it's revenues. I would not ever consider not doing Adsense as it has been good for me.

Undoubtedly Google Adsense has its loopholes which are being exploited by a number of account holders to increase their earnings. However, there has been a big effort on the part of Google Adsense to improve its program particularly in tracking fraudulent clicks. Suspension of accounts is a common sight because of rampant cheating. Still we hear success stories about successful online entrepreneurs who make use of Google Adwords as a medium in promoting their online products and services.

I came across an online group which is into Google Adsense click exchange. It is like you click mine and I click yours. There is a set of rule used to be followed. One is you have to increase the number of impressions of your site and you are required to make a minimum number of clicks daily. It is good I did not join such group because this was traced by Google and all those accounts involved were all banned for using Google Adsense.
