I am the same way with my son. He gets a bit upset with me but in this day and age it's scary to let them go and have their own experiences. I'm 39 and it is definitely not the same world I grew up in. There are only a few houses he is allowed to go to on his own, I know the moms very well. But, everyone is welcome at my house.
