Very well said, Jeremy. I actually came close to crossing the line between home business and home employment recently when the customer service company that I was working with turned from using independent contractors to making everyone an employee instead.
If you are concerned about unemployment, paying your own taxes, and those sorts of things, then home employment is great. I, however, would much rather be in a business of my own, so I left the customer service business and took up writing instead
